[CAP-PAO] National Staff Position

The CAP National Communications Team is looking for a volunteer staff 
member for Comm Program recruiting and retention. Public Affairs or 
public relations skills are essential for this position.
Note that in this context, "Communications" means radio communications. 
Here is a more detailed description:
_CAP Communications Recruiting and Retention Liaison (DOKPR) 
(Plans/Requirement Division)_
Seeking someone to provide support to regions and wings for external and 
internal recruitment and retention of members for communications radio 
operator and staff positions. Includes coordinating and developing 
recruiting and retention materials to be distributed from NHQ, providing 
customer service coordination to wings and regions concerning 
communications recruitment and retention, monitoring and analyzing 
various success metrics, and coordinating content and success stories 
with other CAP Communications staff.
This is an important new position because current and anticipated 
mission requirements will need a significant number of new HF radio 
stations around the country, and members to operate them.
You would need to coordinate with Communications, Public Affairs, and 
Recruiting/Retention staff, as appropriate, plan and develop 
communications recruiting materials, plan and develop talking point 
briefings, and work one-on-one with wings and regions as requested.
A summary of qualifications would include general CAP experience, CAP 
communications experience, knowledge of CAP's regulations (focusing on 
communications), emergency service experience, and experience in public 
relations (especially recruiting and retention). We'd like you to have 
public speaking experience and skills in using PowerPoint, Photoshop (or 
similar platforms), be able to write and spell, and be able to work well 
with others in a team environment.
