<div dir="ltr">This is a great idea.<div><br></div><div>This is very much like a Tweet-up. I did these at work at Vocus each year to promote our annual report. They are great because they allow people to have a real, live conversation and to learn from each other. And, the events often lead to a list of new Twitter followers for the person or organization tweeting during the event, (and hopefully a bunch of re-tweets)<div><br></div><div>Taking it a step further, if hashtags are used, often an event can start to trend which draws even more attention. It just needs to be publicized well so that people participate.</div><div><br></div><div>My advice is to have one central person doing the tweeting with a few helpers watching the conversations to moderate what questions are being asked and to filter them through to the person Tweeting. (I recommend using TweetDeck or something similar to do the monitoring.)
